A bomb attack targeted a military vehicle belonging to the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the vicinity of Al-Qawz, Mudiyah District, Abyan Governorate, April 29. The blast reportedly killed six soldiers and wounded 11 others. Though no group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, militants affiliated with Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) may have carried it out.
