Laura D. Verwest

Laura D. Verwest is a Senior Managing Consultant in CSC’s Cyber team. She joined Crisis24 in 2014 as part of Embedded Intelligence Services (EIS), where she led the Special Projects Division and was the department lead for social media monitoring, deep and dark web investigations, person of interest investigations, and online exposure assessments. She was later a Director of AiiA, developing Crisis24’s flagship AI geopolitical forecasting platform. She has over a decade and a half of experience working with Fortune 500 companies, government entities, defense contractors, international organizations, think tanks, and universities. Laura holds a Master’s degree in Russian and Eurasian Studies from the European University at St. Petersburg and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Russian from Vanderbilt University. Laura lived in Russia for two years and in Israel for one, and traveled extensively within the former Soviet Union and Middle East.
