The planned restart of LNG operations in Northern Mozambique comes as global energy markets prioritize diversified LNG supply and reinforces the strategic importance of Mozambique.
While insurgent activity has increased in recent months, current and planned security mitigations provide a high degree of protection.
Remobilization is underway in a politically sensitive and elevated threat environment. Currently, there are no road movements permitted for any element of the project. Air travel or sea barge to Afungi for logistics are the only permissible options.
